We had several competitors compete in Kansas City this past weekend. They made us so proud with their sportsmanship and the hard work they put in to get to stage. We are fortunate to have such a great team of competitors as well as members of our gym community who do not compete, but have amazing goals off of the stage. You all did a phenomenal job this weekend!

We had two shows November 1. One in Iowa and one in Canada. Here are just a few photos to showcase our competitors from that weekend. More to come! We are so incredibly proud of all of them. Today’s athlete spotlight goes out to this bubbly, fierce lady, Chelsey! Chelsey recently competed in the NPC Kansas City Natural Championships and placed:

3rd in novice B
1st in Novice Masters 35+
2nd in Masters 35+

Chelsey joined us back in January of 2022. If you’ve ever met her you know she is always full of laughter and spirit. When Chelsey started, she had some nerves about stepping on stage but conquered her first goal to do so. Then she switched to figure and she SHINES!! She has found her empowerment in this category and we could not be more proud of her. She has some serious goals this year on areas she wants to progress in and we are thankful we get to be apart of that journey. Keep it up, Chels!

Another shout out to a first time competitor that not only transformed completely in less than a year but also took 1st place his first NPC show at All Star Championships in the teen division. From 165 to a shredded 149 Alex took on the challenge to work his way to the stage with me and .lenny guidance and .physique push him one on one training BFitKC] and posing. So very proud of this young man for facing the challenges that come with a real prep! Congratulations on your win in your first show bud! Can’t wait to see this guy grow into this off season and blow his first look away! Thank you so so much for being part of the BFitKC] competition team! BFitKC = real results

Here’s some Wednesday motivation for you. Cynthia Rodríguez] came to us less than a year ago wanting to compete at her fist show in NPC to give herself a challenge and see how she could do at a higher level at the All Stars championship on Nov 5th The result after deciding to do not one but two different classes her first NPC show?
1st place open figure class B
2nd place Novice wellness class B
2nd place open wellness class B pretty much a BFitKC] online client due to distance she produced an unbelievable package on stage. So grateful that she allowed me and .lenny to help guide her to the stage for her first show at this level with our programming Thank you Cynthia Rodríguez] and hope you continue to grow and improve this off season for the stage next year. You’ve got so much potential in this sport. Thank you for being an BFitKC] athlete this year. Congratulations we’re so proud of you!

Ok let’s talk about commitment to a goal. This little lady works 12-14 hour shifts as a nurse in a ICU unit, but not once backed down from a workout, meal, cardio ect during this process. She allowed me and .lenny to help her to her first bikini competition and never looked back after not getting the proper guidance from a previous “coach”. Lizzy, RN, BSN, ICU] let me know this was something she had wanted to do for years and nothing was going to stand in her way. Dropping from 138 pounds to 112 pounds Lizzy never backed down. All our late night workouts after her shifts paid off! She competed at the All Stars Championships Nov 5th taking 2nd in Novice and 2nd in the open. Then turned around a week later and attacked the Battle of Champions in Iowa placing 2nd Novice and 4th in a stacked class in the open. Talk about relentless! Next year Lizzy, RN, BSN, ICU] is gonna bring a whole new package to the stage after this quality off season she’s about to enter. So beyond proud of you Lizzy for your hard work and consistency. Can’t wait to see what next year holds for Lizzy 2.0! Thank you for allowing us to help guide you to your dream of being on stage your first year!
