Yesterday morning our team was involved in a crash on our way to the first tournament of the season. Undoubtedly, it was a scary event, we are grateful our athletes are safe and remained mainly unharmed. As a coach you are proud of your wrestlers for having the courage to even step out on the mat. However, after seeing this team remain calm and support one another through this situation, it shows how special this team really is. We are thankful for all who have reached out to support our team. We thank the entire administration at Cascade School District #228 for helping us navigate this incident and get our students back home safely. We also extend our gratitude to Lake Chelan Health who treated our wrestlers and Lake Chelan School District for looking after our team. We thank our bus driver and continue to keep him and all involved in our thoughts.
