Today at Leavenworth's BEST Summer Camp, our campers learned about germs and how they spread.🫟🦠🧬 We did a really fun activity throughout the day using a germ powder and a blacklight. The kids loved finding where the "germs" had spread with the blacklight!🔦

Our campers had a visit from the Leavenworth Fire Department today to talk about fire safety.🔥👨‍🚒 The campers then got to explore the fire truck and learn all about the equipment stored in the outside of the truck.🚒 They even got to see the 1000 foot hose!💦💧 Just one of the many ways we have fun here at Leavenworth's BEST Summer Camp!😎

Officer Paul from the Leavenworth Police Department came out to Leavenworth's BEST Summer Camp today to talk to our campers about all sorts of ways they can be safe.👮‍♂️The kids loved learning about safety and exploring the police car afterwards!🚓🚔Officer Paul even turned on the lights and siren for them!🚨

We just wrapped up a fantastic and fun-filled week here at Leavenworth's BEST Summer Camp! 🫶🥳

Our animal and dinosaur activities were so much fun.🦖🦕🐮🐷🐽🐱🐶 We took a couple field trips and had a great time learning about animals and dinosaurs. Each week we have a different theme and so many fun activities for each theme.

We wrapped up Dinosaur🦖🦕 and animal 🐕🐈🐾🐄🐑🐖 week with a lot of excitement! We had a fun visit from the Leavenworth County Humane Society, Inc. and they brought kittens!! 🐈‍⬛🐈 Our campers loved playing and loving on all of the baby kittens.
Campers also got to do some dinosaur excavations!😱 They absolutely loved being paleontologists.😎
There was also a surprise visit from a real Tyrannosaurus Rex!🦖🦖
