Peace! ✌️
Nearly a decade ago, I put my heart into starting Athlos, and it's with a tinge of sadness that I'm saying goodbye to the company. This isn't a choice I've made lightly, but I know deep in my soul it's the right one. Ever since earning my degree in kinesiology, I've been on a mission to help athletes shine and feel at home in their sports. Every single athlete I've had the privilege to assist has become an inseparable piece of my life's narrative.

Goodbye Athlos, I’ve covered my tattoo, dismissed all my swag, and WILL NOT be returning to operate or work under this business or it’s name ever again.

However, after a lot of prayer, be confident that this isn't the end of my story. I'm eager to keep chasing my dreams. As I figure out what's next, I'm asking for your continued backing and encouragement as I set my sights on what's to come.

Until my next adventure opens and God shows me my new path.

I am still training others.
I am still getting it.
They are still getting above and beyond results.
I AM A STRENGTH COACH.

Reached out to me Thursday night explaining the (new to me) video application for the UT Powerlifting team.
I have used power lifts in training my athletes, have never participated myself, so most of my knowledge in the rules comes from coaching the Special Olympics Powerlifting team here.
However, with the information I do have, Cole is a very attentive and coachable athlete. We were able to talk and enjoy several hours in the gym.
It was cool. I know I’m the coach but we were able to hang out and talk about weightlifting, competition, and other things we are interested and passionate in with ease. Makes it easy to help out.
With a few focus points, Cole was able to tighten up his form, work on his breathing, and ultimately move the weight smooth. I have no doubt with practice and the dedication I know he has, that he will continue to improve.
He only gets better from here 💪🏼
