As 2025 comes to an end, we’re reflecting on a truly incredible year and feeling so grateful!

Every dive, every class, and every moment spent with our amazing scuba family and dive professionals has made 2025 unforgettable. We loved meeting so many incredible people, from Open Water beginners taking their first breaths underwater to advanced divers continuing their underwater adventures. This year, we had the joy of helping so many achieve their scuba certification, take diving lessons, complete hands-on training at Lake Longhorn, or join us on our exciting dive trips.

It’s been such a rewarding experience to watch our students grow in confidence, skill, and passion for the underwater world. Applications to participate in the 2026 Lionfish Invitational open on December 1!

The Lionfish Invitational is a research-based citizen science expedition to remove invasive lionfish from Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary and its surroundings. https://www.lionfishinvitational.com/

There are three trips planned this year:
June 21-25
July 26-30
September 6-10

All trip activities within the sanctuary are conducted under federal permits.
