Time for some Silver Springs Excursion specifics 😃
CCK will be in Ocala, Florida to kayak the Silver Springs River from Fri-Sun Nov 13th-15th. Ocala is a great town with plenty of places to stay and good restaurants. Those traveling will take care of their own lodging/food but we will host a cookout Saturday afternoon after our paddle. Ocala is in central/northern Florida (Map is attached). If flying Tampa or Orlando airport are best.
If you plan to go you can rent kayak/paddle board from me for $50 day, which includes the $4 daily float fee, or from the park directly (4 hr rental prices at park are attached). If renting from park you'll pay at the park for whatever options you want just plan to arrive in time to go thru the rental process before we launch. If driving you can bring your own kayak or paddle board and pay the float fee if you prefer. After Saturday's paddle CCK will hold a cookout at the park with hot dogs 🌭 hamburgers 🍔 and Galveston Bay Brewing b**r 🍺 😋
More details to come at the beginning of October as well as a meet and greet at the brewery in November for those planning to go.
