REQUIREMENTS to PARTICIPATE-
Must be 18 or older. Must sign a waiver. Must sign RIVER DEMONS contract to obey all rules.
1- Manditory Practice a week to compete, up to two months prior
to bout. Must maintain Manditory practices up to 2 months prior to bout, coming the week before once doesn't qualify you to bout. Quad skates and Safety equipment. Insurance through USARS 55.00 a year before you can compete. Must have a positive and team attitude. Must be willing to work with others. Must follow direction. Must obey all Code of Conduct rules. Must attend fundraisers or benefits organized by the team when available. Must be able to complete Minimum skills required by USARS before you can compete. Must purchase your team jersey (Team socks provided)
Must have prior approval to skate with sister teams and or sub for other teams. 30 day advanced permission is requested, others after that will be denied. Attending bouts of other leagues are encouraged, attending recruiting events and or other affiliated leagues scheduled events, members of the team must have prior permission or report to league as a whole why they are attending other affiliated league events, and or scheduled practices or recruitment parties. This is league business.. Transfers are to be properly obtained from league staff by member prior to leaving league. As written in Bi-laws .. RIVER DEMONS also have a high standard of playing enjoyment, some how, many skaters around are becoming UN as in unaffiliated with leagues or list themselves as Independent, those skaters will not be able to participate in events unless they are in between affiliations. Its a very unsafe practice and we reserve the right to deny any unaffiliated skaters from competition play, and we feel they do not have the required practice times in and it is not fair to those who take the time to prepare themselves to compete. Why should they get to bout without the dedication to any said league affiliation. To be able to compete minimums must be met. (Effective Aug. 1, 2012)
RIVER DEMONS are a proud team and have fun at what we do. We reserve the right to refuse or remove anyone who does not agree with all requirements to participate listed above, or who does not abide by rules set by the league.
