The Prospector: Check in at the Base Camp, then enjoy a shuttle up the mountain in one of our vehicles including 2 DUCE AND A HALF TRANSPORT TRUCKS WITH OUTSIDE SEATING.
It is a scenic climb up through the forest more than 1,000 vertical feet to the first zip line area at 11,200 feet of altitude. Enjoy 360 degree views of some of the tallest mountains in North America. See old gold mining areas and look for wildlife on our 2,500 acre private preserve. After a short "flight school" guests will embark on a course of SIX separate zip lining areas connected by easy down-hill walking trails through the forest. Four of the areas have dual lines so guests can fly side by side. THE BIG NUGGET IS THE SIXTH SECTION OF ZIP LINE OPENED IN LATE JULY 2014. THREE 850' ZIPS RUN SIDE X SIDE X SIDE DOWN FROM THE MOUNTAINS AND LAND ON THE 100' SKYTOWER. THIS IS THE GRAND FINALE for the tour. All Decks are flat on the ground, so guests do not climb up ladders in towers or trees to get up high. All lines have double cables for safety. Guests are attached to both the upper cable and the lower cable with separate carabiners for the ultimate safe experience. This is "hands free" zipping. Special "CATCH" Brakes provide a safe and easy landing; GUESTS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO "SELF BRAKE". This means a safer and more enjoyable experience, especially for families with children. At least two Certified Zip Line Guides accompany guests on the entire tour. Each section of the course has different aspects of terrain and distance off the ground. There is a stop along the way for snacks and water. Expect to spend approximately 2 - 2-1/2 hours on this tour. TOUR PRICES INCLUDE ALL SECTIONS.
