Thank you for sharing this incredible photo!
Mike Ryan, General Manager at Barefoot Resort, spotted this amazing elk crossing on Little Phil at Terry Peak this afternoon — what an unforgettable sighting. It’s moments like these that remind us that Mother Nature truly is right in our backyard. 💙

The ’25–’26 season brought its share of challenges along with many successes ❄️🌤️. Mother Nature delivered less than half of the average snowfall—just 71 inches—and warmer-than-average temperatures. However, thanks to the upgraded snowmaking system, Terry Peak was able to maintain excellent conditions for most of the season and remain open later than many others ⛷️🎿.
But more than anything, it was all of you who made this season so memorable ❤️.
Thank you for making history at Terry Peak! 🙌
Terry Peak is now closed for the ’25–’26 season.
