German Jefferson Sportsmens Club The records of our club start in 1949 when 101 members paid one dollar each to start the German-Jefferson Sportsmen Club. We meet the first Monday of the month.

From the beginning the club has been involved with land issues, projects, and activities.

It was unfortunate the old floating dock was un repairable and broken but Finally , the new dock is Finished. With the help from Le Sueur County Parks and rec. -Jose and Tyler and members of the club Andy Zimprich, Kevin Schaefer, Wally, Dave Zimmerman, Dave Voss, Grassy, Joe Meyer , Pete Sexe, Scott Ziebarth , Jerry Schmidt, and Scott Vanoverbeke the dock was put together, and with the DNR working with the club to get the Dock floated over to the fishing pier area on Co. Rd 105 on West Jefferson. Thank you everyone who has supported the club to support these projects. Go out and Enjoy!

*REMINDER of the May Monthly Meeting*

Monday, May 4, 2026 in Cleveland at the Legion @ 7 p.m.

Will be an update on what to go with for Sportsman’s club jacket ordering for this summer so we have them for fall. Possibly Building Wood duck houses if we can get some wood, Raising pheasants (list of who wants them and will be notified when they arrive) , and set the Summer fishing get together date.

Shoutout to the German Jefferson Lakes Sportsman’s club for their donation! Their donation has provided giveaway prizes for our ice breaker tournament this Saturday!

Building Wood duck houses, Tree ordering , Raising pheasants, and the Summer fishing get together , there was also talks about trying to get another fishing pier dock and put it someplace. Lots to look forward to moving forward. Lots to talk about.
