Due to the many tee choices, this course can offer a challenge for the better golfer or a shorter and easier path for the less experienced. The original eighteen is characterized by a creek that runs throughout many of the holes along with tree lined fairways. The newest nine is more of on open lynx style with several wetland areas and prairie grassland that can come into play. The Green Course at

Willow Creek is a 9-hole regulation length golf course in Le Mars, Iowa. This medium-length layout has 3 sets of tee boxes for a fun, but challenging golfing experience. There are 2 other courses on this same property, the Black Course, and the Red Course


This golf course offers golf cart storage, a concession area, a bar/lounge area, and a large banquet hall you can rent for your special occasions.

Reminder! Junior Golf Meeting tonight at 7:00. The program is open to anybody in the area from beginners to 18 years old! Operation 36 Platform...I will have sign up sheets available in the clubhouse for those that cant make it. First Thursday is June 4.
Please have kids signed up by June 1....Gonna be a fun summer!

Not sure if this is right but maybe! We will remain closed today as temps continue to drop as well. I could also use 1 more team at 3:00 in the Blue Tee League and 1 team at 530 Thursday to take out the bye each week. Send me a message here or call the course....thank you!

Saturday the course and range will be closed
51 and 30-40 mph winds...not good golf weather at all.
Sunday we will open after the frost and start tee times at 11. Highs of about 61 and minimal wind will be manageable.

Tree updates...we just finished up planting 50 bare root trees....2 different oaks, hackberry, elm and kentucky coffee tree. Most all the trees are in the area of play and are staked like shown. If your ball ends up by the tree, please move your ball or avoid smoking the new trees with your club's follow through. Please use your foot wedge!
The course has really greened up to start the season....looks like 70-80 next week!

Happy Easter! We have had a great start to the season and the 2"+ of rain we just received was much needed. The course needs to dry up today and the frost overnight didnt really help. The course and range will remain closed today. Men's league will have a short meeting Wednesday night at 630.

As we start the year off, lets all remember to fill your divots with sand, fix your ball marks on the green, and not drive as close as possible to greens and tees.
Most importantly...when using the online system to book your tee time...make sure you are on the correct day and believe it or not the right golf course! There is more than one Willow Creek! I have had 4 mistakes already, and its only March 20 😂.

I'd like to think this was an April Fool's joke a couple weeks early. Most of the snow is gone now but we will not reopen until possibly next Wednesday or Thursday when temps get back above normal. A week from now the temps look like they will push 70 again...mowers will be coming out! See you soon!
