What an incredible morning! Our members showed up, pushed through the sweat, and conquered the Hero WOD "Murph" to honor our fallen heroes.

Today isn’t about the clock or the burning muscles. It is about dedicating our sweat and effort to something much bigger than ourselves. The workout—a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats, and another 1-mile run—was a challenge.

We completed this grueling tribute in memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy and all the incredible men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedom. When the reps got tough, we thought of their ultimate sacrifice, and it gave us the push we needed to cross the finish line.

To every service member who has served, who continues to serve, and who gave everything for our country we thank you. Your courage, service, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who came out to grind it out and pay tribute together. You left it all on the floor! 🇺🇸💪

Honor the fallen this Memorial Day by joining our annual Hero WOD Murph. This iconic challenge tests your grit while paying tribute to Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy and all who sacrificed for our freedom.
All fitness levels are welcome—we have scaling and partner options ready for everyone!🇺🇸

The Workout:
1-mile run
100 pull-up
200 push-ups
300 air squats
1-mile run
(Partition reps as needed; weight vests optional!)

Event Details:
Date: Monday May 25th
Time: Heats at 7am & 8am. Doors open at 6:30am.
Where: Le Mars Strength & Fitness
627 Prospect St. Unit 4

Not ready for the full challenge? Take on a "half-Murph" or team up with a partner to split the reps. We hope to see you tomorrow.

Resistance training can cut fracture risk by up to 40% yet we are still pushed to eat less and move more.

Exercise reduces postpartum depression by up to 45%.
