Each year this is usually the hardest post...the last post of the season. We had three teams still playing...8th, 7th, & 5th. We didn't get a team photo of the 7th...too many smiles and hugs and that's always better than a photo! We played up in Sioux Falls and finished our season playing some great basketball.

The 8th grade team went 4-1 to finish 3rd overall. Got beat in a close game to a team that was more physical. The boys overcame that loss to win the last game and became the more physical team. It was great to see the adjustment from them. These boys had a phenomenal season, and I can't wait to see what they accomplish in seasons to come. They are such a close-knit group as well which makes this group even more fun to watch on the court as well as hanging off the court.

The 7th grade team ended 2-2 and took 4th overall. This team continued to grow and play some great basketball and overachieved my expectations. They are some of the nicest and most fun to be around group of ladies that you'll ever get to hang out with...oh, and they are also pretty darn good on the court! It'll be fun to watch this group compete moving forward as the ceiling is high for them.

The 5th grade team went 2-2 and finished 5th overall in the 5th/6th grade division with one of the losses coming in OT. These kids WORKED and I'm very proud of their efforts. In the one loss they were going up vs 2 kids that were twice their size...but that didn't stop them from continuing to work hard and compete. That's what it is about. This is a competitive and fun group as well and they will continue to see good things as they move forward.

Well, that's a wrap on the 2026 season. I couldn't be more proud of this year's group of kids, coaches, and families. Our coaches are all about the kids and about teaching them the skills and fundamentals that will help them moving forward. The families are some of the most fun and most supportive people and I get the pleasure to call them friends and now family. And the players...we have the best kids...they come to get better, they are here to compete, and they are just wonderful and kind. Plus, they sure do know how to have fun as well!

Thank you all for another great season of All In Hoops and representing this organization! Keep being amazing and don't forget to keep a basketball in your hands as well😀!

Tourney breakdown -

Our 14s were in action a week and a half ago up in St Cloud, MN for the Great Plains Alliance tournament. This was a great opportunity to see some different competition. Overall they went 2-2 losing in the consolation championship game. They played 1 game Friday night and then 3 on Saturday. What doesn’t show on the scoresheet is the grit and determination that these boys played with that weekend. The pic shows all smiling faces and that was after finishing the tournament. Thats this group of young men. After battling for 4 games thru sweat and blood and what I’d say was 4 guys at 100%, another fighting thru an injury, and one other that played as much as he could fighting thru injury, these guys were still smiling. Thanks boys for digging deep, playing some amazing basketball, giving it your all, and enjoying the ride the entire time! You truly are…ALL IN!

We had our annual parents vs players night and it didn’t disappoint! We had most of the players and a lot of parents in attendance. Shout out to the parents for not getting hurt! Here’s a breakdown of that night:

3rd grade: the players put up a valiant effort, but the height of the parents was too much to overcome. Parents win 30-23!

5th grade: this will be the upset and talk of the town for a while. The players take the “W” in double OT! Final was 22-21!

7th grade: this game was all parents to start the game. But, the players just wouldn’t back down. With the 3 pointers flying high they made a dramatic comeback, but still came up short losing to the parents 32-29. Shout out to Steph Curry and Jackie Moon for making an appearance!

8th grade: the boys sure did a lot of talking thinking it was all them, but they forgot that the dads just don’t back down and can play ball as well. In the end the parents prevailed with a 27-20 victory!

Thanks again for all who made it and for all the fun! This is always a blast and one of the most enjoyable memories each year!

Another tournament in the books for three of our teams. The 5th (sorry…no pics from last weekend), 7th, & 8th squads headed south to Lincoln last weekend. Another opportunity to grow as players, team growth, and fun hangin out together! Here’s the breakdown:

5th: The record doesn’t give them justice for how they played. This team battled. They ended 1-3, but two of the losses were close and could’ve gone either way. This is a talented group of kids and consistency is the one thing holding them back from being dominate. Continue to work and great things will come for this group!

7th: Another great showing for these ladies! They went 4-0 and brought home 🥇 place! Congrats ladies. They continue to work hard and play really well with each other. Each week they come together more and more and are fun to watch.

8th: These boys got moved up to 15u and continue to dominate. They play hard and also know how to have fun doing it. They also went 4-0 and took 🥇 place. These boys are super unselfish and their defense continues to shine.

Great tournament for our All In teams! I continue to love watching them compete, watching them grow in the game, and have fun on and off the court!!!

What a wonderful weekend of basketball and togetherness!

I’m pretty sure we let these players play so us adults have an excuse to hang out! See photos! These families are so much fun to be around.

The group pics of several of our teams is my fav. There were so many of our players and teams sitting on bench or sidelines supporting our other teams this weekend. Can’t love this enough!!!

Weekend breakdown:

We traveled to Elkhorn for some ball. All four teams played exceptionally well. There were so many moments of great basketball by all players/teams and lots of opportunities to elevate our game. We took every opportunity as a coaching staff to challenge the players to work on things to help them and their teams grow in their play. They all stepped up! Love seeing them utilize the skills being taught and executing new plays on both sides of the ball.

3rd Grade: Ended their season with a 3-1 record and tying for first place! This was such a fun, silly 🤪, and close knit group of ladies! They really learned how to play more aggressive and leave everything they had out there on the court. Proud of you ladies!!! 👏

5th Grade: Ended up 2-2 on the weekend and taking 3rd. They lost a close game to a nice equal level team that went back and forth all game. They played some great team ball sharing the rock a lot! 🛘🏀

7th Grade: Went 4-0 on the weekend and took 🥇 place! These girls got the opportunity to run some new stuff without ever practicing it before and learning on the fly. Super proud of how they played and learned on the go. Now if we could just finish those bunnies…🐇😀

8th Grade: These boys flexed their muscle 💪🏼 and went 4-0 on the weekend to also capture first place 🥇. They got to come up with their own offensive set and almost got it to work…if only they could dunk 😉. This group continues to grind and put out a great show! I know a grandma that sure likes to cheer them on!!!

Over Memorial weekend all four teams traveled to Omaha to the CHI center for some basketball...or football/wrestling/chaos depending on the game. Normally I'd break down the weekend by team, but this time I'm going a different route.

PROUD!

Not because of the records, or the 2nd place finish by the 7th girls, (even though I am on both accounts)...but in how our organization acted & responded. And I'm not just talking players...but our coaches and families as well. This is who we are and why I'm so proud of everyone within the All In Family. We went to play basketball, to learn, to get better, to compete, and to have fun. In the end not only did we complete all those items, but I think we all came out of it a little more grounded in who we are and why we do the things we do. In a world where there is so much chaos and negativity and me me me, the players, coaches, and families stayed grounded in their beliefs, morals, and just down right decency. So again, screeming from the rooftops, PROUD of all of you and especially our players for being the wonderful amazing kids that they are. And PROUD that they have wonderful amazing parents that are bringing them up correctly. And PROUD that we have the coaching staff to protect and encourage and teach them.

Thank you for representing the name on the front and the name on the back...and thank you for being ALL IN!
