Celebrity!! 🤩🤩🤩 Read all about Area II Adult Rider Donald Ruths Jr and his awesome partner, Raven!

“He’s almost like an old soul. He’s very clever and smart, and he’s very honest on cross country—extremely honest. Probably one of the most honest horses I’ve had.”
~ Donald G. Ruths Jr. on his Friesian-Percheron event horse, Raven

Despite being a draft cross, Raven has excelled at eventing with both Donald and his son in the irons. Donald has figured out a training and conditioning plan that suits Raven, and he gets to seeing his friendly gelding show off his intelligent, honest and athletic nature as they earn top results at Training level.

Adams ATC at AEC Final Update 🥳

First, congrats to everyone on a fantastic week of eventing. There were highs and lows, laughs and tears, and lots of horse pats and hugs. If you can say one thing, it is that there is nothing boring about our sport!!

For the BN, in a nail biting finish, Area 2 narrowly missed a top three team finish, but put in some great SJ rounds. Big snaps for Area 8 team We Should Be Crafting on earning the title on their home turf - well deserved as the only team of 13 BN teams to end with four FODs! 👏👏👏

In Starter, team placings were also down to the last rider, and saw multiple shake ups on the leaderboard (not one team of nine had all team members FOD 😮). Area 2 ultimately ended the day off the podium, but with some great new friends and memories, which is what this is all about!!! Congrats to Area 1 team Start Box Social Club on the title!

Safe travels home! A full Area 2 wrap up will follow soon. Please feel free to add your favorite photos from this week below to add to the wrap up.

Thanks for tuning in and being a part of Adult Rider!! 💖
