1 of my good friends, and also a badass client that absolutely destroyed the last 4 weeks of her program! She's now going into cycle 2 of her bodybuilding program, we both can't wait to see what happens by then end of cycle 2.

4 week difference, and already seeing a world of transformations! Better posture is even there! Down 2.5 inches around my waist and you can see it! Still have a long road ahead of me, but I'm closer than I was yesterday! Brick by brick. Brick. By. Brick.

Today's client testimonial comes from Rhonda H. Rhonda, has been in coach strength class for 3 months now, and recently has been making big progress!

Rhonda, started with a wood pole, and dumbbells when she first started, but has recently graduated to a Barbell! Coach Brandon, taught Rhonda, proper form, and body mechanics before introducing the barbell, to lower the risk of injury, and now Rhonda is seeing the results, and benefits she came to us for. She also shared with us today she has lost 5 inches in her waist, and 9 pounds in the last month! Her squat is 135 pounds, bench 115 pounds, and deadlift 150 pounds! Not bad for being in her 60s!

Look back to when you started your current program, did your coach or coaches take the time to really analyze your abilities, movement patterns, and body mechanics? A great piece of feedback we get from every client (literally every client 😀) is that we educate, and have our clients moving and feeling better than they ever have.

Debbie, had a lot of limitations, but has overcome every single 1 of them, and never had an excuse on why she couldn't do something! Debbie, just did it! She asks questions, and wants to learn, and has created a new way of healthy living! Debbie, is the poster child of the perfect student/client. We love you Debbie, and can't wait to what a year of hard work looks like! You're currently almost 9 months down, and look amazing!

I have struggled with my weight most of my adult life. A friend asked me to check out Lions Pride gym. I am very self-conscious and was very unsure about joining a gym as I have had bad experiences with other gyms. I went ahead and took the plunge and joined. One of the best decisions I have made.   

I was very nervous about going in and working out/training around other people. Everyone that I have met there has been so very supportive.       
I was introduced to Brandon and he was great and very understanding. I have had my knees replaced and a shoulder injury. Brandon wrote specific training programs for me, with my weight, health issue and injuries in mind. 

Since I have started training at Lions Pride with Brandon, I have dropped over 40 pounds and gained some much needed confidence. I feel so much better about myself and my mobility is constantly improving with the knowledge that I have gained. I have been able to do things I didn’t think I would ever be able to do. Everyone in the Lions Pride family have been so great, thank you!

At Lions Pride, I've found a coach, and a community. Because of this support I've started competing and learning how to powerlift is one of the best things I've ever done. It's improved my physical, mental and emotional health. I feel much more knowledgeable about my body and what I can do at the gym. I've also found a great group of people and friends. 

I've built strength, feel more confident in my body and more grounded overall. I've also learned that results aren't just a number on the scale. I can't recommend this community and gym enough!

We have big news! Location #2 is ready to roll January 28th! We will be running mostly WOMEN'S ONLY STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING CLASSES!

We want women to be able to train with confidence, and really learn strength training, and see real results.

Where do I begin!? has been gaining, so much strength lately it blows my mind. We started working together again in August, squat 1 RM was sitting at 295. Fast forward to today, hit a smooth 455 for a single! Mark's, work ethic is unreal, and we love having you !

I'm making a confident, but bold statement! I think Mark, has to be the strongest mayor in Utah 😂😜! you guys have the real deal! Strong, and gets things done in your beautiful, growing city!

Trainer Tip Tuesday:

Are you lifting with the correct bar? Chances are you're probably not, especially if you train in a commercial gym. Squat, bench, and dead should have a dedicated bar to get the most out each lift. Squat bars will be more rigid, dead bars, should have whip, and bench bars rigid to right in the middle of the 2.

If you train with the proper bar for these lifts, you'll be able to tell a big difference on how the weight moves! we have all the bars for each lifts! Come give it a try and see what you've been missing out on!
