📣 CHEER CLINIC 📣

Ready to bring the spirit this summer? Join us on June 18 for our Cheer Clinic, designed for beginning to intermediate cheerleaders who want to learn new skills, build confidence, and have FUN!

Athletes will work on the fundamentals of cheerleading, including:
-Motions
-Jumps
-Tumbling
-Dance
-Sideline Chants
-Stunts

While Fliptastic may be best known for gymnastics, we are fortunate to have coaches on staff with years of cheerleading experience who are excited to share their knowledge and passion for the sport.

Whether your child is interested in school cheer, competitive cheer, or simply wants to try something new, this clinic is a great opportunity to learn in a positive and encouraging environment.

Grab your flip-flops and leis because we're headed to the beach! Join us on June 16 for our Luau Preschool Clinic, designed especially for children ages 3–6.

Led by our amazing Preschool Director, Ms. Cortney, this tropical adventure will include:
☀️ Basic gymnastics skills
🌊 Motor coordination activities
🌴 Beach-themed games
🏝 Pit time adventures

Gymnast Spotlight: Claire Pennington

Claire competed on our AAU XCEL Gold Team this past season, and we have loved watching her continue to grow both as a gymnast and as a person.

Her favorite events are bars and floor, her favorite snacks are chicken and Goldfish crackers, and one day she hopes to travel the world...with Paris at the top of her list!🇫🇷🗼

When Claire isn't in the gym, she enjoys making clothespins with positive messages to hand out to other gymnasts. Her kindness and thoughtfulness shine through in everything she does, and she has a special way of making the gym a sweeter place.

When asked what she loves most about Fliptastic, Claire said:

"I love Fliptastic because the coaches are encouraging, knowledgeable, and supportive. I also love all the friends I have made at the gym over the years. At Fliptastic, they have taught me skills and values to help me succeed not only in the gym but in life."

Claire is gentle and kind. She's the kind of teammate everyone needs. We are so proud of the young lady she is growing into!

BACK HANDSPRING CLINIC

One of our most popular summer clinics is back!

If your athlete has been dreaming of learning a back handspring, this is the perfect place to start. Our Back Handspring Clinic is designed for athletes ages 6+ who already have their rolls, cartwheel, round-off, and bridge.

During this clinic, athletes will work on the progressions, strength, drills, and skill development needed to safely and successfully begin learning a back handspring.

⚠️ Prerequisites are required to ensure athletes are prepared for this level of instruction. Safety is the top priority at Fliptastic.

Ready to level up your tumbling this summer? We've got a clinic for every stage of the journey from first cartwheels to advanced flipping skills!

☀️ Cartwheel Clinics (2 opportunities)
Perfect for beginner and intermediate athletes ages 4+. Athletes will work on foundational skills including rolls, handstands, bridge kickovers, walkovers, and round-offs.

💥 Back Handspring Clinics (2 opportunities)
Designed for athletes ages 6+ who already have their rolls, cartwheel, round-off, and bridge. We'll focus on the strength, drills, and progressions needed to safely develop a back handspring.

🔥 Advanced Tumbling Clinic (1 opportunity)
Led by Coach Marshall, this clinic is for athletes who already have a safe round-off back handspring and are ready to work on saltos, twisting skills, and more advanced tumbling progressions.

Ready to get flipping this summer?

Join us on June 9th from 2:30–4:00 PM for our first Cartwheel Clinic of the Summer! This clinic is perfect for athletes ages 4+ and is designed for both beginner and intermediate skill levels.

Athletes will work on:
⭐ Forward Rolls
⭐ Backward Rolls
⭐ Handstands
⭐ Bridge Kickovers
⭐ Walkovers
⭐ Round-Offs

These foundational skills are the building blocks for more advanced tumbling, including the back handspring!

Whether your child is just getting started or looking to sharpen their technique, this clinic is a fun and encouraging way to stay active and build confidence this summer.
