Yesterday was a busy day on the diamond, football field, and court.

JV came out hot with good pitching, scoring every inning, and playing solid defense. These girls continue to work hard and it showed in their 8-6 victory over Central.

Varsity had a great game against Central winning 9-1. Hannah Pewewardy owned the circle with 7 K’s.

Varsity played an all around solid game against Ike but fell short 1 run, losing 3-2. We will continue to work and are back at it again next week with a home game against Comanche.

On the football field, all 3 teams had great success and beat Central. Football returns to the field on Tuesday as they travel to Elgin.

On the volleyball court, both JV & V both had stellar performances and dominated Central.

It was a beautiful day for softball at the MacArthur Middle field as our Lady Scots hosted Altus. In the first game, the JV team had some great defense early on, but could not sustain it for the entire game and lost 7-1. The 2nd game felt like a tennis match as the varsity went back and forth with Altus. In the bottom of the 5th, down by one run, Emoree Easley crushed the ball to center field, driving in the tying and winning runs. Great job to all the ladies on a successful day.

Last night our softball ladies traveled to Comanche for a difficult road test. Varsity played an all around solid game. Lights out pitching, consistent offense, runs every inning and quality defense, winning 9-2. Despite the 7-5 loss, the JV displayed great effort but the bats turned cold. Fantastic night for both teams.

The Lady Scots Volleyball team traveled to Altus on Thursday for a tough road test. Once again, our JV team was in the middle of a back-and-forth, tough match, and when it was all set and done, they came out on the short end but had great effort and tenacity. Our varsity, after a dominating performance, handled Altus with ease. Great job to all athletes.

Lady Scots Volleyball bounced back in a strong manner today against Duncan. JV and varsity teams were dominant with their serves and digs all day long while cruising to 2 game victories. Great job to both teams.

Lady Scots Volleyball hosted Cache today in front of a packed house. Our JV and Varsity took Cache to 3 games, but could not walk away with the victories tonight. The Lady Scots return to action tomorrow as they host Duncan.
