Marine Corps Cannoneer School This is the "OFFICIAL" page of the Marine Corps Cannoneer School, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The Marine Corps HIMARS Operators Course is 6 training days.

The Marine Corps Cannoneer Course is five weeks, 25 training days. Designed to train entry level Marines to standard in 1000 level tasks (Cannoneer), and familiarizes them with select 2000 level tasks (Gunner/A-Gunner), in accordance with NAVMC 3500.7, Artillery Training and Readiness Manual. This is a follow on course to train 0811s to standard in 1000 level tasks (HIMARS Operators), and familiar

izes them with select 2000 level tasks (HIMARS Gunner), in accordance with NAVMC 3500.7, Artillery Training and Readiness Manual. Select Cannoneers may earn the Billet MOS designator 0814 upon completion of this course to serve with any HIMARS Battery’s in 10th Marines, 11th Marines, or 2nd Bn, 14th Marines. The Marine Corps Cannon Rocket Section Chiefs Course is six weeks, 30 training days. This course is designed to train Small unit leaders in the grades of Corporals through Staff Sergeant in accordance with NAVMC 3500.7, Artillery Training and Readiness Manual. Prior to attending this course, the student must present the completed MCCRCC Command Screening checklist upon check in. The Marine Corps Cannoneer Advanced Course is five weeks, 27 training days. This course is designed to train senior Cannoneers in the grades of Sergeants through Gunnery Sergeant in accordance with NAVMC 3500.7, Artillery Training and Readiness Manual. Prior to attending this course, the student must present the completed MCCCAC Command Screening checklist upon check in.
