1000 Easter eggs, over 45 prizes and 75+ kids.... I'm done. Lol
Thanks to everyone who helped me with or brought their kids out to our 1st of many more to come Easter egg hunt at our community park in Lawtell. I want to especially thank Darryl Hinds and Rhonda R. Hinds for their donation of baskets and prizes. It was a huge success. Hope everyone enjoyed it.

I was informed yesterday that parish government will no longer handle the up keep of the park, mainly the grass cutting, trimming and minor repairs. They don't have the man power because of lay-offs. We don't have the funds to hire someone so we are asking our community members to meet at the park for 6:30 pm today if you have any suggestions or concerns on how we can move further.

2016 Lawtell Little League Banquet @ Yambilee Auditorium. I want to thank all of the parents, coaches, assist. coaches and volunteers who help with our season. A special thanks to my niece Annette Guillory who help with the decorations and made cupcakes and to Wayne Singleton who provided us with the audio for the program. Also thanks to our sponsors and all who attended.

OK EVERYONE!!! WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF CALLS ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT BUT STILL HAVE NO COMMITTED TEAMS!!! WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS EVENT POSSIBLE IN ORDER TO KEEP OUR PARK OPEN FOR THE KIDS.....WHAT Y'ALL GONNA DO??? DON'T MAKE ME CALL Y'ALL OUT!!!

Lawtell Little League has extended registration until May 14th. Someone will be at Family Dollar Store in Lawtell today thur Thursday from 5pm - 6pm taking registration or call 337-351-6941 or 337-543-7777 to make other arrangements.

Registration is now being taken for the 2016 Lawtell Little League Summer Ball (Ages 3-15). Registration deadline is May 6, 2016. Please call 337-351-6491 to make arrangements to register. $25.00 fee for first child and $15.00 per additional child. Will need a copy of the child’s birth certificate. Season will start on May 30, 2016 until July 8, 2016.
