Unfortunately, due to being quarantined for covid , we are going to have to reschedule the tournament. A decision should be made today or tomorrow regarding the new date. We are looking at the last couple of Saturdays in September as possible dates. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Here it is… the registration form for the 1st Annual Spankdown at the Woodshed. It’s a 3 on 3 basketball tournament being played on a 9‘ rim in Lawrenceville, IL. There will be a double elimination 3 on 3 basketball tournament on Saturday, September 4 beginning at 8:30 AM at The Woodshed in Lawrenceville (1811 State St.). We will have 3 divisions: open division, 35+, and co-ed. All games will be played by 1s and 2s (in co-ed division girls buckets are 2s and 3s) to 11 and the winner must win by 2. Games will be played on a 9’ rim using a size 29.5 basketball. The cost is $50 per team, which can consist of 3 to 5 players. As soon as we can get the technology lined out, applications and payments will be available to do online. If you’d prefer to pay in person, contact Corrie Ray. We are looking at hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament on a 9’ goal over Labor Day weekend to raise money for three girls from Lawrence County who are involved in competitive cheer. Next week, our organizers are meeting to hash out the details. We will share information as it is made available. We hope to have something that is fun for participants and raises money for some local girls.
