Have your saddle fitted by the EQUImeasure system described on our website, then choose your design, leather, tooling, cantle, and more. Amish craftsman, Henry Miller, will then make your saddle and take it by buggy to his shipping office.

Henry Miller is still making the same designs he made for Cynthia Wright at Dixieland Gaited Saddles, now from Virginia. Turnaround time is 5-6 weeks, four of those weeks are having your custom saddle tree made.

Amish saddle maker, Henry Miller, is able to make any saddle design he previously made for Dixieland Gaited Saddles. That being said, no two saddle trees are precisely the same. The fit to the horse and the seat size would be the same, but the exact angle of the cantle could vary somewhat each time a tree is made. In case you missed it, ordering directly from Henry Miller is now available. Henry worked for Dixieland Gaited Saddles before they closed and the same quality is available to be ordered through our Western Trail Saddles (WTS) website.

Our saddle maker is Old Order Amish and he is in the process of moving his leather shop. During the transition we will not be taking any new saddle orders. When we do start taking orders again, we are planning to offer direct orders to Henry Miller.

We make replacement saddle parts for Dixieland Gaited Saddles Our Old Order Amish craftsman is the same person who made the original Dixieland saddles and we are making the exact same saddles under the new "WTS" name.
