Another great week for golf is on deck!

Just one little speed bump Tuesday for our school matches:

Back 9 closes at 2:00 PM High school
Front 9 closes at 3:00 PM Middle School

After that, we’re wide open and ready for Labor Day weekend! 🇺🇸

Today is the final day of the pool—come swim while there’s still water in it! After today, the diving board becomes a bad decision with nowhere to land!

Due to today’s weather and debris on the course, we will remain closed for the rest of the day.

GREEN ROOM WILL REMAIN OPEN AS BUSINESS ALLOWS.

Last call for cannonballs!

We’ve had a great summer, but all good things must come to an end… so get those final swims in this week before the pool closes and your only water hazard is back on the golf course!

Mid-80s this coming week—finally, a number most of us would be happy to see on the scorecard!

Just a heads-up: We’ll be closed all day tomorrow for the Elks Tournament and will close at 2:00 PM Tuesday for the high school and middle school golf match.

The rest of the week is wide open, so come chase that mid-80s score while enjoying some mid-80s weather if it stays true!

Mother Nature has apparently decided to give the thermostat a workout this week. Luckily, she might find the “cool down” button before the week is over. If you think the 80’s are any better…,

Just a couple course closings to work around:

⛳ Thursday, August 20th — Course closes at 2:00 PM for the High School & Middle School match.

⛳ Sunday, August 23rd — Course closed ALL DAY for the Elks Scramble.

Get those rounds in, drink plenty of water, and remember… complaining about the heat has yet to lower the temperature.

🔥🔥 It’s HOT out there, folks! 🔥🔥

This kind of heat is tough on bent grass greens — and it can be even tougher on the golfers! Please be mindful of the greens (be gentle) and help us give them a little extra TLC during these hot summer days.

And just as important, take care of yourself! Stay hydrated, take breaks, find some shade, and know your limits. Sometimes it’s perfectly okay to take a day or two off from golf — we promise the course will still be here!

Our maintenance crew is working hard to keep everything healthy through the heat, and we appreciate everyone doing their part.

Take care of the greens, and most importantly, take care of YOU!

Lawrenceburg Golf & Country Club is looking for a Pro Shop Worker to join our team!

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, friendly, has a positive attitude, and is willing to learn.

🗓 Weekdays + some weekends
🕐 Mostly afternoon shifts
🚶 Must be comfortable standing and walking for much of the day
⛳ Help with customer service, retail sales, tournaments, carts, and day-to-day Pro Shop operations

Today is back to a normal day! All 18 all day!

Just a normal week at LGCC… well, mostly.

We’re sharing the course with the next generation of golfers this week, so the Front 9 will be getting a couple early bedtimes:

🏌️ Monday — Front 9 closes at 3:30 for a High School Match (CANCELLED)

🏌️ Tuesday — Front 9 closes at 4:00 for a Middle School Match

Other than that, business as usual! Come get your round in, fix your ball marks, rake the bunkers, and try not to blame us for that triple bogey. 😂
