🌿 A Notice from the Steward of Emerald Pastures 🌿

Greetings, wanderers, warriors, makers, and assorted creatures of questionable intent!

The Emerald Pastures are open THIS WEEK, and the welcome committee is very excited to see you.

Come join us for another afternoon of fellowship, fighting, crafting, storytelling, and whatever else you lot get up to when left unsupervised.

⚠️ A Steward's Notice of Absence ⚠️
The Pastures will be closed for the next two weeks.

Nameless and I will be representing our park at BattleCry 2026 in Indiana next week, followed immediately by a friend's wedding. Apparently, the Steward is expected to occasionally leave the Pastures and attend to matters beyond the fence.

While we're away, we strongly encourage you to prepare yourselves.

⚔️ Mend your weapons.
📜 Write your stories.
🧵 Finish your projects.
🛡️ Polish your armor.
🧠 Plot your schemes.
🌱 And, perhaps most importantly, consider what you intend to bring back with you when we reconvene.

We will return for Midreign on September 20th.

Until then, the Pastures will wait.

Hello to the pasture! The Nameless one has caught wind from the moos of the pasture through the night. Some travelers are making their way through, and it sounds like we will have enough to play a level 1 class game! So figure out what class you’d like to play as, and we will have that rulebook ready for all of our newcomers! See you all tomorrow!

This weekend is supposed to be hot and clear, so we hope you join us this Sunday and bring plenty of water!

New to Amtgard and not sure what to call your persona? Don't stress! Most of us didn't have everything figured out on day one.

Instead, ask yourself:
✨ Who would you be in a fantasy world?
⚔️ How would you solve problems?
🐺 What creature or symbol represents you?
📖 What kind of story do you want to tell?

Your persona doesn't have to be perfect—it just has to be yours. It'll grow with every event, quest, and campfire.

What a fantastic first park day!

Thank you to everyone who came out to help make the very first gathering of Emerald Pastures such a success. Whether you were brand new to Amtgard or have been playing for years, we're grateful you chose to spend your afternoon with us.

Today we fought, laughed, made new friends, and began building something special together.

These group photo marks the beginning of Emerald Pastures' story, and I can't wait to see how our community grows in the seasons ahead.
