7 Decisions to Excel at Pitching

Have your pitcher answer these questions:

1) Are you willing to practice?

2) Do you believe in your coach?

3) Are you committed to making adjustments?

4) Do you know how to feel for yourself?

5) Can you learn from failure?

6) Are you aware of your presence?

7) Do you understand process is greater than results?

GOAL: To answer "YES" to at least 6 out of 7 of these questions.

Make sure if it's a "YES" means she doesn't even have to hesitate to answer the question...and she knows that the answer is YES.

*kind of* saying "YES" to any of these means doubt. It's the same doubt that creeps into a pitcher's mind before she throws a pitch in a game and isn't 100% behind the pitch.

That doubt = lack of confidence and belief in herself because of the things I listed above.

To excel as a pitcher, you MUST believe 100% in every pitch. This is why it's so important to address these decisions above and find a way to turn those "no's" into "YES's"!

❗A quick update regarding Saturday's tryout❗
• Please arrive to tryouts at least 30 minutes early to allow time for pre-registration and warm-ups. The tryout starts at 10.
• If you pre-registered and did not get a confirmation email, then you did not complete the pre-registration process. Please complete registration online to speed up the check in process on Saturday morning.
