Tigers earned another WIN on their last regular season EIAC game vs Batesville last night 10-0 in 5 innings.

Jillian Cavanaugh drove in four runs on one hit to lead Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers past Batesville 10-0 on Thursday. Cavanaugh hit a home run to center field in the third inning, scoring three runs, and hit a sacrifice fly in the first inning, scoring one.
Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers scored seven runs in the third inning on the way to victory. Cavanaugh homered to center field, scoring three runs, Ella Lynam doubled, scoring one run, Jayni Wesley singled, scoring one run, Reigha Ghiatis singled, scoring one run, and Ava Hall singled, scoring one run.
Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Cavanaugh hit a sacrifice fly, Erica Sizemore hit a sacrifice fly, and Batesville committed an error, each scoring one run.
Hall earned the win for Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers. The righty allowed two hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out four and walking one. Wesley pitched three innings in relief for Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers. The pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs while, striking out three and walking none. Grace Copley took the loss for Batesville. The starter went two innings, giving up nine runs (eight earned) on five hits, striking out three and walking four.
Wesley and Ghiatis each collected two hits for Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers. Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Hall and Izabella Miller led the team with two walks each. Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers didn't commit a single error in the field. Lynam had the most chances in the field with seven.
