Tigers earned another WIN on their last regular season EIAC game vs Batesville last night 10-0 in 5 innings.

Jillian Cavanaugh drove in four runs on one hit to lead Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers past Batesville 10-0 on Thursday. Cavanaugh hit a home run to center field in the third inning, scoring three runs, and hit a sacrifice fly in the first inning, scoring one.

Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers scored seven runs in the third inning on the way to victory. Cavanaugh homered to center field, scoring three runs, Ella Lynam doubled, scoring one run, Jayni Wesley singled, scoring one run, Reigha Ghiatis singled, scoring one run, and Ava Hall singled, scoring one run.

Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Cavanaugh hit a sacrifice fly, Erica Sizemore hit a sacrifice fly, and Batesville committed an error, each scoring one run.

Hall earned the win for Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers. The righty allowed two hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out four and walking one. Wesley pitched three innings in relief for Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers. The pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs while, striking out three and walking none. Grace Copley took the loss for Batesville. The starter went two innings, giving up nine runs (eight earned) on five hits, striking out three and walking four.

Wesley and Ghiatis each collected two hits for Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers. Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Hall and Izabella Miller led the team with two walks each. Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers didn't commit a single error in the field. Lynam had the most chances in the field with seven.

Tigers take a 14-8 W on the road this morning @ North Decatur!!!

Erica Sizemore drove in five runs on two hits to lead Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers past North Decatur Varsity Chargers 14-8 on Saturday. Sizemore doubled in the fourth inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the first inning, scoring two.

Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers first got on the board when Sizemore singled, scoring two runs.

Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers added three runs in the second. Ella Lynam doubled to right field, making the score 7-1.

Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Harleigh Rowlett tripled down the right field line, Ava Hall walked, and Lynam singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Jayni Wesley earned the win for Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers. The pitcher allowed eight hits and eight runs (five earned) over seven innings, striking out three and walking two. Brooklyn White took the loss for North Decatur Varsity Chargers. The starting pitcher went three innings, giving up 10 runs (seven earned) on seven hits, striking out four and walking seven.

Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers tallied 11 hits in the game. Rowlett, Lynam, Sizemore, Lexy Elza, and Izabella Miller each collected two hits for Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers. Jillian Cavanaugh paced Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers with four walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up nine walks for the game.

Carmen Thackery led North Decatur Varsity Chargers with three runs batted in. The third baseman went 1-for-4 on the day. White led North Decatur Varsity Chargers with three hits in four at bats. Madison Rohls collected two hits for North Decatur Varsity Chargers in four at bats. North Decatur Varsity Chargers turned one double play in the game.

Lawrenceburg Varsity Tigers will travel to Connersville for their next game on Monday.
