We are getting our staff together to celebrate our numerous Best of Lawrence wins and inviting all of YOU to join in on the fun!

Tuesday, September 15th we are extending our daily Happy Hour in the cafe 6-8pm PLUS our Bike Service Manager Austin will be leading a FREE Bike Basics Clinic on the cafe 2nd floor. Covering everything from flat tire repair, drivetrain maintenance, and emergency repairs to safety and tool checklists, this is a great info session for new riders or a nice refresher course for the old heads. Plus, discounted beer and high fives can be involved!

See you in the shop this Tuesday at 6pm. 🌻

A portion of all cafe sales 4-9pm every Thursday this month helps support our local Big Brothers Big Sisters and their mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

Join us here in the cafe on September 17th for Otters on the Kaw… our next Sunflower S.T.E.A.M. series installment presented by Friends of the Kaw

George Frazier, author of The Last Wild Places of Kansas: Journeys into Hidden Landscapes and Riverine Dreams will present “Otters: The Kaw’s Most Glamorous Mustelids”, where he’ll share insights on river otters on the Kansas River and stories of his interactions with our favorite mustelid.

Thursday, September 17th
4-9pm Happy Hour in the Cafe
6pm Presentation on the cafe 2nd floor

Free event and open to the public.

THREE cold lunch options this week in the cafe to help take the edge off the hot Kansas summer… Ham and Provolone (pictured) or Turkey and Cheddar deli sandwiches, plus a Tuna Salad Sandwich. All with side choice of chips, tomato salad, or house salad and all pair nicely with a $5 anytime Coors Banquet served in one of our new pint glasses.
