weekend was absolutely wild. Thunderstorms, rain, mud, hike-a-bikes… all of it. 🌩️🌧️

But more than anything, we had an awesome time supporting our friends of the shop out on course and at the checkpoints. Watching everyone battle through the conditions, help each other out, and keep moving forward is what makes this weekend so special.

Huge respect to every rider who lined up and took on the Flint Hills this year. What a weekend.

We’ve been talking a lot about Unbound this week… but future Unbound riders have to start somewhere.

Spring has sprung, and there’s no better time to get a kid on a bike.

From balance bikes to neighborhood cruisers to their first “real” geared bike, we’ve got all kinds of options in the shop to help get the next generation rolling.

Who knows… today’s ride around the block could turn into tomorrow’s gravel racer, trail shredder, or Unbound finisher.

Unbound week is here. 🚴‍♂️🔥

Now’s not the time to be second-guessing whether your bike is ready for the journey across the Flint Hills.

If you’ve got a weird noise, rough shifting, worn tires, rubbing brakes, or anything else that’s been sitting on the “I should probably get that checked” list… stop by the shop sooner rather than later.

As we get closer to the weekend, service availability is going to get tighter and tighter, and a few of us will be out supporting friends and riders at the event later in the week.

We’ll do everything we can to help get you dialed, but the earlier you get in, the better chance we have to make sure your bike is truly ready to take on Unbound.

Clunky shifting? Chain constantly ticking no matter how many barrel-adjuster clicks you throw at it? There’s a good chance your derailleur hanger might be slightly bent.

And trust us… we’ve all had the “yeah that bike was definitely leaned safely against the wall” moment before. 😅

Sometimes it’s a quick hanger alignment, sometimes it’s just time for a proper once-over. Either way, we’ll get it sorted out and shifting smooth again.

The hay is likely already in the barn training wise, but if your bike’s making weird noises, skipping gears, or your brakes are feeling more “suggestion” than stopping power… now’s the time to get it checked out.
