Race day at the Clearbay mountain bike trails! Big shout out to my pops for pit crewing for me today. I've always been blessed to have the best support from my folks. Made today just the more special. We did not win but we got a bad ass belt buckle for riding over 56 miles!

Belgian Waffle Ride was a success! And by a success I mean I finished. Much slower than my goal time but hey, this was my second 100 mile ride in 8 days. The course was brutal, the wind was cold and strong, all the hills were monsters, the single track was plentiful and WTF was up with the Snake Farm!?

My big take away from this year of life is that we are all so much more capable than we realize. Get out there and get you some y'all! 104 miles and 8k feet of ascent makes for a tired personal trainer.. but no rest for the weary next week, the Belgian Waffle Ride here in Lawrence, KS!

Congrats to my star athlete Ethan Harris on his 3rd place finish in the national debate tournament this last week! Highest finish in Lawrence Free State Highschool debate history! This man is a gentleman and a scholar!!! Good luck next year repping the crimson and blue!!

For me exercise has always been about having fun. It doesn't matter whether you're throwing around dumbbells, running 5ks or playing recreational sports. Find something you love and then do it and then do it again!

Starting in May I'm offering one on one bicycle lessons for people who might have barriers that have kept them off bikes in the past. Let me share the love of the open road with you and help you gain the confidence to help you find your fitness.

Congrats to LHS senior and Athletic Republic Athlete Graham Hough on signing his letter of intent to play football for Pittsburg State next football season! Graham is one one of the most gifted and most humble athletes I have ever had the pleasure of training over the last three years. Few people make running 22mph on my treadmill look so easy. Watch out for this Lion asserting his dominance out on the track this spring!
