Greater Lawrence Community Boating Program Inc. Our mission is to provide safe, affordable boating opportunities to all residents of the Merrimack V Summer Program for youth, families, and adults.

US Sailing, rowing, canoeing, kayaking and more. Rowing and Crew teams for area middle school and high school students. Master competitive program for adults as well as novice training. Rental facilities including 100 person function hall and 400 person grounds on the water front. Training classes in safe boating, Red Cross CPR, AED, First Aid.

The Raffle of the Year is September 17th. Online ticket purchase- Click this link. Choose $100. You're ticket is good for 2 persons to attend and Jed will email you a picture of your ticket stub. It will be waiting at the door for you the night of the raffle. Doors open at 5:30pm, band starts at 6, ends at 830pm.

The Boathouse received a $50,000 Earmark for our mission to help youth and families in the City of Lawrence and the Merrimack Valley.

Thank you so much to State Senator Pavel Payano, State Representative Francisco Paulino, State Representative Frank Moran, and State Representative Estela Reyes.

We are very fortunate to have the support of such amazing people. We will continue to run affordable, safe, recreational and enrichment programs for our local youth.

We are open!

Every day 8am to 8pm. Come down after school to do swim test and sign up. Youth and adults can stay and do boating activities and play in the back yard. Full camp youth programing starts next week.

Summer-Fest event is this Saturday 11 to 3. Free event for the community. Boat tours, BBQ, face painting, giveaways, entertainment and more. Invite all you friends to join you.

SUMMER-FEST 2026- Save the date.

A free community event, June 20th 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

It will be a day of fun featuring a BBQ, boat tours, music, local vendors, and a Red Sox tickets giveaway. We will also have kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards available for use.

Summer is right around the corner, and we look forward to seeing you here at the Boathouse!

The Greater Lawrence Community Boating Program is embarking on the largest single capital project since the construction of the Abe Bashara Community Boathouse - the rebuilding of our docking systems.
