Hello Starfish Swim School North Texas Family,
This is a tough post to write, but I wanted to let you all know personally that we won't be opening for the 2025 summer swim season. Our family is heading into a big transitional year with a possible upcoming move and me taking on a full-time job. It means I won't have the capacity to run lessons during the day.
I know this might be disappointing, and believe me, it's not a decision we made lightly. This will actually be my first summer in over eight years that I won't personally be in the water teaching, and I take stepping back from this role very seriously. Teaching your kids to swim has been such a joy for me, and I'm going to miss seeing all your amazing little swimmers.
If we do open again in the future, it would likely be nights and weekends to accommodate our new schedule. We'll keep you posted on any developments for 2026 and beyond.
Thank you so much for your understanding and incredible support over the years. We truly appreciate each and every one of you!

Happy Monday! It's officially our last week open for Summer Season 2024, and we want to make it the best one yet!
Thank you to all our amazing swimmers and families for another fantastic season. We couldn't have done it without you! Let's make these last few days count! 💦

Big storm coming today due to the hurricane 🌀 hitting the coast. It's looking clear until about 1pm, but any lesson scheduled at that time or later in the day will be canceled out for safety reasons.
As a reminder, this is our rainy day policy. A little light rain doesn't bother us (since we will already be wet in the water). However, if there is any thunder or lightning in the area, we will cancel lessons.
Stay safe and I hope all your plants and cracked ground soaks it all up today 😊
