We’ve had a few questions tonight about gate fees, so we wanted to share a little clarification. 🎟️

Gate fees don’t just cover entry—they help keep our fields running and ready for the kids each week. That includes:

• Trash pick up
• OG&E (yes, those lights aren’t free)
• Water
• Field chalk
• Gas for mowers (this place gets mowed weekly)
• Umpires
• Concession workers
• Gate workers
• Concession stock
• Bathroom upkeep (including things like the changing table,etc)
• Baseballs, softballs, and tees
• End of year party
And so much more!

We understand no one loves paying a gate fee, but it plays a big role in making sure these kids have a safe, maintained place to play the game we all show up to support.

Also, a reminder—many of the individuals working the gate are kids. They do not set the prices, and they’re simply doing their job. Please treat them with kindness and respect.

We appreciate everyone who supports the kids and the program each week 💜
