Entering his 3rd year at the helm of Pea Ridge Basketball, Coach JD Parker continues to lead the Blackhawks into a new season.

With a focus on developing student-athletes, building a strong culture, and competing at a high level, Coach Parker and the Blackhawks are ready for another year at The Ridge.

Welcome Coach Shane Compton to The Ridge!

Coach Compton brings an incredible history on the court, starting as a multi-year standout at UCA—where he was part of back-to-back AIC District 17 championship teams and the 1992 NAIA National Runner-Up roster—and earning AJC All-Conference honors at North Arkansas Community College, leading to his 2007 Hall of Fame induction.

His coaching career is just as decorated: a 3A-1 Coach of the Year title, multiple regional tournament runs, leading the 2024 North Central Arkansas All-Star Game, and guiding Green Forest to a 2024–25 AAA Academic State Championship.

We’re thrilled to have his veteran experience on our staff as High School Assistant Basketball Coach and Head Golf Coach!

A 2019 Pea Ridge graduate, Trey Anderson has been coaching at Pea Ridge since 2023. After previously serving as the Head 7th & 8th Grade Coach, Coach Anderson takes over as the Head Junior High Coach this season.

Coach Anderson brings a strong connection to the Pea Ridge community and a commitment to developing the next generation of Blackhawk basketball players.

We’re excited to have Coach Anderson leading the Junior High program!
