We offer the basic processing of your deer and a wide variety of speciality cuts. Our facility is clean and will hang your deer for 5 to 7 days before processed.

This past deer season we had a lot of customers that like to stop by and see Reese & Sarge. So I thought I would just share an update on his current health situation. For about three months now, he has been having seizures. We are currently on our third ER vet visit. He’s on two different kinds of medication and we’ll go about a month and then a cluster hits again. They’re talking about adding a third. In the video below you’ll see him at the Vet in his jingle bell collar that helps alert you to when a seizure starts. It feels like he had taken about five years off my life in the last three months and put me in the poor house with all these vet bills. Hopefully we can get them under control soon. And poor Reese doesn’t know how to act when he’s not here.

Coyotes have expanded their range faster than almost any predator in North America because they’re extremely adaptable and reproduce at an aggressive rate. A single female can have up to 10–12 pups in one litter, allowing populations to get out of control quickly even with heavy pressure. They’ll eat almost anything, rabbits, fawns, berries, insects, livestock afterbirth, garbage, pet food, and many times cats or small dogs. With wolves largely removed from much of the country and human development creating endless edge habitat, coyote populations exploded. Today, they live in all 48 contiguous states, thriving in farm country, suburbs, and even cities by using fence lines, drainage corridors, and road systems to move largely unseen close to your Karen neighbor that doesn’t like the dead deer you hung up on your kids swingset.
