We have a few really nice large ponies we have been on the fence about re-homing. Would be available to a very nice home. All have been started under saddle. None are crazy or buck, just green and can use an experienced rider and more miles. All are friendly and have gotten a lot of ground work. We have been debating getting out of personal stuff for a while and just having a project here and there and I think it’s time to just rip the bandaid off and do it. Rehoming by NO fault of their own. They are all sound and very nice looking ponies.

Purebred welsh section A size mare not registered, 4ish yrs old. Started has a few rides on her. Gorgeous! Palomino with big black eyes. 4.5k 🥕

Buckskin Roan welsh/qh pony mare (12 ish hands) grade around 7yrs old. She is super cute and loves to be brushed, has had a bunch of ground work. Is smart and *very* athletic. Has been ridden at the stockyards quite a bit. 5k 🥕

Registered half welsh (bred high brow hickory on papers) sorrel mare. Around 5yrs but will check papers to confirm. My personal pony Ruby. I’ve ridden her a bunch, our nephew rode her as well. She looks like a small quarter horse when she slicks out. Loves attention. Wants all the scratches and doesn’t like sharing them. Kind of a dinosaur about sharing feed but no other quirks. Around 12 and a half hands. 5k 🥕

Cute sorrel pony gelding, around 4yrs old, grade, around 13 hands, flaxen mane and tail. Has been started under saddle. Pretty gentle. Green but no buck. 3.5k 🥕

*Slightly Negotiable* but I can’t give all our ponies away so be fair please. No tire kickers. If they don’t have a home by the end of March, they’ll all be consigned in April. Serious inquiries only. Not accepting payments on my ponies. I just need to rip the bandaid off and move them before we change our minds again!

RESCUE PONY UPDATE!

Does anyone remember our bitty girl Little Bo Peep that we rescued around 7 or 8 months ago?! Little Bo Peep got saddled up for her first time last night! She is the SWEETEST little thing. She is going to make someone’s kid the most perfect first pony. This pony is incredibly gentle, she’s sweet, quiet, kind, and loves tiny kids. We love her to pieces here and we will surely miss her when she goes to her new home.

We are still working on Little Bo Peep’s topline. She has gained a LOT of weight since we shaved all her hair off and put her on a really good feed program. Her topline still isn’t where we want it to be but she has come a LONG ways since she arrived. Also our baby donkey chewed off half her mane and tail so that’s sad but she doesn’t seem to notice. 🙃 Thankfully we have a farrier in the family so her feet are much better than they were but she still needs a little trim correction. When we rescued her, she was so sore that she really didn’t even want to walk. She just ate while laying down. Now, we can walk her around our entire property and arena and she is happy to have slow easy exercise with our little girls. Little Bo Peep will make a fantastic lead line pony but we will also be teaching her to ride without a leader this week!

🦄 Welcome back, MEMPHIS! So excited to have this gorgeous girl back in the pony string! Memphis is a quarter pony mare, around 3yrs old. She should mature to be around 14 hands max. Memphis will be going to work at the stockyards for plenty of cattle exposure. She is destined to be quite the athlete! She should make a really cool breakaway or roping pony. This pony is a red dun grade mare. She currently stands around 13.1 or 13.2. She is built like a small horse. She is solid, has a nice big hip, and is built the way a pony should be! Memphis will be available to a new home after her training continues. She will have plenty of training under her cinch before she goes to give her the best chance at a great future. With her build and size, she is will comfortably carry a kid weight as well as a smaller average size adult. Message us for inquiries and more information. 🦄

Cutest little leadline gelding in the making! We plan to have Richard ready for his new home in September or October. He’s going to be the cutest little guy. He has a couple of rides under saddle already with our little cowgirl but he needs many more miles before we will send him to anyone else.

He has been used at the stockyards and collects up nicely, and really stays in your hands. Rambo will stand tied quiet all day. He is very quiet in his pen and shy. He’s a sweetheart when he settles in 🥰

Richard got tacked tonight 😂 he was not impressed. But he did OKAY! He’s going to be a nice pony. He’s pretty smart. Little flighty but that is nothing we haven’t fixed before. Hadleigh flagged him out and rode him as well. Lots of firsts for Richard tonight! Richard will be available to a new home after he has completed our mini program with Hadleigh!

We have a friend looking to downsize their herd.

Grey gelding, 19yrs, basically been there done that as far as lessons/trail. We are looking at buying this sweet fella and having Jake (husband/trainer) bring him to work at the stockyards to give him the final experiences he needs for ranch survival in Montana and the Midwest. This is a nice beginner safe aged gelding with lots of miles and soon to have miles of cow experience.

He will be priced to sell but we expect him to go to a really nice retirement style family home after Jake gets him cow friendly!
