Here’s Blue Boy’s loot!! And here is his run this morning for handler discrimination Master. He got first place both yesterday and today and his Master Handler Discrimination Title. Got Master Exterior Title yesterday and another 3rd place finish in Exterior today. He did well in everything today. The only problem was me! In the third room of Interior Master, he found 1 hide and was ready to leave. I should have called finish at that point. However, I took him back through several more times to be sure —and—he kept bringing interested in the walk by the door. I was going to call finish about five times, but finally called an alert at the walk by the door and there was nothing there. He did well. He was looking at me like “Aren’t we finished yet?”. Guess I couldn’t tell the difference between “Aren’t we finished look”. and his “alert” look. Ok. I learned. He didn’t need it anyway because he already has his title, but I messed up. I knew he was done . . . but talked myself and him into an alert on a wall. 😲 Overall, he did great this weekend. I could improve in reading his cues.
