Had a kick ass time at Rage! Thanks again for always putting killer events!
We had a blast but it wasn't without a few challenges.
On day 1, the car was running great! Joe Kearns and I started dead last off the line with 3 other cars. We got the hole shot and started picking off car after car! We hit the road crossings at 85mph and were hauling ass trying to get into a position to pass a another car at CP3 when a huge rock got thrown in front of us inside a rutted-out left hand turn. We hit it so hard I thought we blew both front and rear tires. The car was handling like crap but since the forged .wheels Pro 1 wheel handled the impact, we decided to keep pushing forward to get to the pits for the tire change. Tiff got us all set up in the hot pits enlisting the help from  team Terrana to make quick work of the tire change. We then got back out there and started picking off cars. After the race at post tech inspection we found that we lost 2 rear CV boots and the CV’s were about to explode but luckily, we were able to finish the race.

Thanks to Carlos giving us a couple of axles we were able to get the car ready for the next race.  Day 2 we were placed in row 11 and had a great start off the line with clean air before hitting the Moon Bumps. Lap one was great with no issues and were making good time. Lap 2 we broke a front axle and watched it shot out in front of the car just before entering the Fox Proving Grounds. We switched into 2 wheel drive and continued on! We were setting a great pace starting lap 3 until mile 5 the car lost a cylinder so we had to pull off and call it quits.

Test, take it apart, rinse, repeat 😎 Finding all the little issues before V2R. Barstow is a little warm out here but still better than hanging around the house...
