There's no doubt the 2015 Penn-Trafford Warriors are one of the best teams in school history. The WPIAL finalists set a school record for points with 576 and finished with a 12-1 record. Their memorable playoff run to Heinz Field- knocking off North Hills, McKeesport in overtime, and Pine-Richland in the final seconds was legendary.

Join the 2015 team when they are inducted into the eighth class of the Warrior Football Hall of Fame at the banquet on September 19.

– WARRIOR GAMEDAY –

Today, Penn-Trafford (1-0) travels to nearby Spartan Stadium to take on the Hempfield Spartans (0-1) in a non-conference matchup. Last week the Warriors defeated rival Norwin 31-7 at home while Hempfield dropped a close game 14-13 at Bethel Park. Just like Norwin last week, the Spartans are members of the WPIAL Class 6A Quad County conference.

This year is the 30th all-time football game between the schools that started in 1990. PT owns a 25-4 series lead. The Warriors won the most recent contest, 41-18 in 2023.

The last time Penn-Trafford played a Saturday afternoon game was on September 25, 2021, a 54-14 win at Shaler. Hurricane Ivan in 2004 caused a one-day weather delay in a home game against Baldwin, ultimately won by the Warriors 24-7. And going back to 1989, Hurricane Hugo forced PT to play a rare Monday game in history, a 22-0 shutout at Tri-Valley.
