I gotta give it up for my daughter Aysia. She started her 6-week camp at 141 lbs and finished at 115.9 lbs. That kind of discipline doesn’t just happen.

People only see the end result on fight night, but they don’t see what it takes to get there. The long days, the sacrifice, the consistency… for Aysia, it probably feels like it never ends.

She’s working a full-time job—10 to 12 hours a day—then going straight into full training sessions after work. Still making time for church in between it all. Staying locked in with her nutrition, dealing with strict meal plans that aren’t cheap, and putting in extra work with body conditioning. Even finding the right people to spar with isn’t easy.

And in the middle of camp, she lost her grandpa. Traveling to California for the funeral, being around family, and still staying disciplined with her diet—that’s not easy at all. No shortcuts, no cheat meals… no cookies, no pie, no sweets 😂

That’s the part people don’t see.

Mom and I are proud of you, Aysia. The hard work, the sacrifice, and the mindset—it all matters. 💪

Well, it’s been three weeks since my Dad passed, it seems like yesterday when I was playing checkers with him, and telling him he’ll be home soon. We thought it was Home In Manteca, but the Lord had other plans to take him home to heaven. I can still hear my dad saying “Jason Is there any more hot water for coffee”.. What I would do to make him another cup of coffee😢 love you Dad!
