Galen loves taking family and friends hunting! Opening weekend of turkey season he took our oldest daughter Jennifer and family friends Kat and Lillie. Both ladies have been turkey hunters since they were young so it was only fitting to take Lillie along to observe the hunt. All hunters had a wonderful time. Both took mature toms!

Galen took his oldest daughter, Jen, for an early morning turkey hunt today. They had an exciting day calling in a few nice Toms and their hens. Jen harvested a gorgeous Tom out of the group. Congratulations!!!! Turkey hunting ranks at the top of some of life's most exciting hunts. Best of luck to you fellow hunters this season!!!

The hunter (Bobby) told Galen this deer was chasing a doe toward him fast and ran right under the stand. It was too close so he shot and missed. He was extremely upset with himself. Much to his surprise, the buck reappeared in the food plot a short time later offering him another opportunity. A well placed shot resulted in the harvest of this fine old buck and a very happy hunter.

We are very proud of the pups we raise......they really love what they do. I am sharing pictures of 3 year old Hank of Dixie Quail. Also included are pictures of one year old Ammo and one year old Sam, both of which are out of our last litter. We have recently had the pleasure of them returning to our place to hunt. This is what a happy pointer looks like.
