Hi everyone, HBA Racing is still around, and will be updating everyone on all the racing for the past month. A lot to catch up on. We had gotten really sick right after our last race for 3 weeks and sure enough we had heard about the tragic loss of Kyle Busch. My ❤️ heart broke on many different levels especially the father and son relationship. I saw the Brexton and Kyle Busch about 6 months in Las Vegas were to compete against each other in Legend Cars. The event was know as Battle of the Busches. I shook Kyle and his son hand in passing through the pits as I was near them. And simply talked about being a father watching his son race. Extremely proud dad to say the least. I saw a calm Kyle Busch enjoying his old stomping grounds. The YouTube video link below captures another side of the day. I didn’t see the Kyle Busch Rowdiness that he’s know for but saw the father mentoring his son and making moments for his family. When the Charlotte NASCAR Race was on tv, my heart just stopped to see Brexton with his shirt on from Las Vegas battling his dad. I saw a boy lose his hero and now on the world stage hold it together for his mom and sister as bag pipes played from the Charlotte Fire Dept We have had many close friends race Kyle Busch in his younger years in Las Vegas. A lot of stories and irony as Kyle Busch also passed away on the same day as Spencer Clark his biggest rival growing up. The world is small my friends, in the fire service I would say things change in a blink of an eye, enjoy what matters most and make it count. God Bless this family and I pray and hope Brexton keeps racing in the near future when he’s ready, as will be cheering him on every step of the way!!
