Note parking is limited to 9 spaces total in the lot. Carpooling is necessary depending on how many confirm.

Weather- high for Sunday is 88 degrees F. Pack lots of water, Sunscreen, towel, bathing suit, flip flops, hiking shoes, hat, sunglasses, pack food.
We will leave studio around 745 am.
We will start hike after a warm up stretch in the parking lot at Gold strike. Bring a yoga Matt.

It's a pleasure to be traveling with you on our first overnight trip. In order to make this possible. It will require us to all work together as a community. We will be sharing our transportation, food and supplies in order to make everyone comfortable and keep this economical. Below you will find a list of items you may sign up for in order to help make this possible.

Dearest Hiking Yogis,
I can not be more ecstatic for our very first “Kamp Out” experience!
This Event is also in Celebration of our Spectacular Teacher Kristina Algerio, and her forever 21st Birthday.
We will enjoy Sunset Yoga by the water, Boat Rides, Campfires, Pot Luck Dinner and More. Maybe even create our own dance party under the stars.
Look forward to a memorable and fun overnight experience.

The Starting Point is not limited to any of these times, you can designate when you will be joining in, any of these locations and times you are welcomed to meet us, and can come and go as you desire. We can also make carpool/ shuttle arrangements if you do not have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Let me know how we can help you join the fun, we are a community and will be working together on transportation, meals, and supplies. If you have a 4wheel drive vehicle and want to help carpool, please let me know.

NPS rules.

Kristina Is teaching the 845 am class.
Please Note Space is Limited to 27 students.
If you want to join this class, please pre register on Mindbody online ap or email by Wed September 23.

If you don’t want to take class,
We will leave the studio parking lot at 11:30 am.

Meeting Point #2 Cottonwood Cove Marina -2pm
Cottonwood Cove Marina is on Lake Mojave. This is a chance for us to get a group count and to coordinate our travel together to Nellis Cove.
Parking is free and safe behind the store near the hotel. Security guard golf carts around all night.

Vegas yoga to Cottonwood Cove Marina is about a 90 minute drive using Google.
Cottonwood Cove Marina is 13 miles east of Searchlight. 6 miles east of Searchlight is a NPS pay booth. Lake Mojave area entry fee is 25.00 per vehicle. Carpooling is highly recommended. This is the last chance at public bathrooms or phones.

Boat Shuttle-
A special THANK YOU! to Chris Thurman, He has volunteered his boat during our trip. Nellis Cove is 6 miles by boat south of Cottonwood Cove. 15 minute boat ride

Chris’s boat has seats and vests if needed for 11 passengers or 2000 lbs.
That’s a full load and is safe.
He is willing to take numerous boat rides if they are needed to shuttle us to the location.
Boat Rules.
People who can’t swim wear ski vests. (Provided)
Barefoot on the boat please. (No Sand)
No Smoking

**If any of you want to ride in the boat down to our location please let me know so I can make a transportation schedule. This may be ideal if you don’t have 4 wheel drive or do not want to take your car.

If you have a boat and want to bring it, let me know. I will give you launch information. Anchoring in the cove we are headed to is gentle on the boat for overnight storage or sleeping.

***Do not speed from Searchlight to Cottonwood Cove. 45 mph most of the way and 25 mph near and in the village. Radar enforced by park rangers.

Cell Phone Signal
The road from Searchlight to Cottonwood Cove all cell phone signal is sketchy.
Verizon cell phones work at Cottonwood Cove.
Unknown if other providers do. There is free WiFi at Cottonwood Cove Marina and you can log into that and send and receive text messages if you have no cell signal.
This is why it is best to meet us here if you do not want to leave from the Vegas Yoga studio.

From Cottonwood Cove Marina to Nellis Cove Driving;

Nellis Cove is 18 miles- 45 minute drive from Cottonwood Cove Marina.
4wd required for last 3 miles.
If you dont have 4 wheel drive let me know and I will make arrangements for you to travel down

Kamp Set Up 2:30-5:30
Based upon when you and your equipment arrive, estimated 2:30-3:30pm, we will set up our Kamp Site.

*An additional Email with Supplies lists will go out upon RSVP.

Moonrise: 4:13pm 80.2% illumination. There will be plenty of moonlight at dusk.
Moon Meridian: 9:15pm straight overhead.
Moonset: 2:23am It will be really dark after that.
