📈 Whether you are an elite shooter or working on becoming an elite shooter, these are my 3 non negotiables (IN SEASON & OFF SEASON). They sound simple and easy to do..
🫵🏽 It comes down to how bad you want to become an elite shooter AND having the right feedback/information/training.
🔑 Consistency is KEY!
1️⃣. Lifting - Lifting weights can enhance shooting performance by improving strength, stability, and coordination. Increased upper body strength contributes to a more stable shooting platform, while overall strength can enhance endurance during a game. Additionally, weight training helps develop muscle memory and coordination, crucial for consistent shooting mechanics.
2️⃣. Shooting 5x’s a week with a certain amount of makes enhances muscle memory, refines technique, and boosts confidence, contributing to improved accuracy and speed, key elements for becoming an elite shooter.
3️⃣. Proper sleep and nutrition contribute to improved cognitive function, focus, and motor skills. A well-rested and well-nourished individual is likely to have better reaction times, enhanced concentration, and improved hand-eye coordination, all of which are crucial for shooting accuracy and performance. Additionally, sufficient sleep aids in muscle recovery, supporting overall physical readiness.
