Last weekend Paisley was given the opportunity to drive a 250 for the first time. She did excellent and had so much fun. She still has a lot to learn but we are so thankful to Jimmy Paniagua for giving her this opportunity to grow her abilities. We will be at Cycleland Speedway May 16th racing her boxstock!

Last weekend we ran DSO 3 and Hayer Memorial at Capitol and had some highs and lows. Saturday we started towards the back in our first heat and managed to work our way up. We were feeling good and started 2nd in our second heat but unfortunately got taken out a couple times and moved to the back and never fully recovered. A little of the same in the main, but Sunday was a new day! We decided last minute to throw Paisley in her Light 160 for Sunday (HUGE thank you to all the dads who jumped in to help). Paisley ended up qualifying 1st in BOTH cars and actually had the fastest time for the entire day! We hoped she could keep the momentum going for her races but she fought her car and the track, charged out of her heat but came back in the main with a fight in her. This was a learning weekend for all of us but we can’t wait to get back out there. Thank you to all of our sponsors, friends and families for always supporting Paisley! Next race, May 30/31!

2 years ago Paisley ran her first red rookie race, this weekend she ran her first Light World Formula race! We were nervous going into this weekend after facing a few challenges but we managed to get her car put together and she drove her heart out.

Saturday she drove hard, never gave up and ended up taking 3rd in her Main!
Sunday was a little messier but days like those make for a better driver. We will learn and be better for next time.

Saturday : Practice-Heat-Heat-Main

- Sign Ins 8:30 – 9:30 am
- Pit Meeting 10:00am
- Heats will start after pit meeting. Which includes 2 minute practice
- Heat 1 all classes
*1 hour lunch break*
- Heat 2 all classes
Rookie classes will run main events directly after heats
*2 hour dinner break*
Competitive classes starting with Jr Honda will start at 7:00pm
-Trash pickup / track cleanup

Heat race finishing points plus passing points (USAC/NASCAR Youth Format) will set main event line ups with top point earner starting on the pole.

All engines must be sealed directly after heat 1

All other USAC/NASCAR Youth rules apply

Sunday : Open Practice-Heat-Main

- 8:30-9:30 am open practice
- 8:30-9:30am Sign in (handlers & drivers), volunteer sign up & wristband distribution in the tower.
- 10:00am pit meeting - Red Rookies need to bring their cars to staging

There will be a break between heat races and main events.
- Trash pickup / track cleanup
- Awards

Fuel - The official race fuel is 87 octane unleaded gasoline from Arco AM/PM at 3140 Elkhorn Blvd, North Highlands, CA 95660.

Quarter midget season has officially begun! We kicked off a new season with a new class as yesterday was her very first senior race! She raced Light 160 at American Quarter Midget Association and we are so proud of how she drove. She went into this weekend sick, with very little seat time in the new car but she drove well and communicated to dad about car set up. We need lots more practice and seat time but it was a successful race day and so fun to race with such talented drivers! Only a couple more weeks and we’re back on dirt in another new car!

This weekend we ended our “offseason” with some racing at Olive City Showdown. We approached this race like we do every race - going after seat time and progress. We don’t chase championships, our goal is to be better every time she hits the track…and this weekend did not disappoint. Started out Thursday strong, she was excited and driving well. Unfortunately dad forgot to turn on her raceceiver before she went out so she got put to the back during re-rack and didn’t have time to makeup spots (she forgave him eventually). Friday she went back out for redemption and her chain broke on the start of her heat 🤪, got to the C main but no transfer. Saturday she came to play. After not doing great in her heat, she got placed 10th in the D main(top 6 transfer to the C), she passed cars and drove smart and made it to 3rd to secure her spot in the C main! In the C she started 13th, she managed to make it to 7th and missed the transfer by 1 spot. We are incredibly proud of how much she improved this weekend and how hard she fought. So many great drivers that have been racing a long time, for this being her 5th competitive box stock race we couldn’t be happier for her. She drove her heart out and had a great time doing it.
