That’s a wrap on the 2026 Nevada Police & Fire Games 3v3 Ice Hockey Tournament!

After three days of intense, competitive hockey, the GOONS came out on top and are your 2026 Gold Medal Champions! 🥇🏆

This year’s tournament featured an incredibly even and competitive field, with exciting games throughout the week. Several games came down to the final minutes, and a few even needed a shootout to determine the winner.

The Championship Game featured the Goons vs. Sentinels. The Sentinels entered the game looking to capture their third consecutive gold medal, but the Goons had other plans. For the first time in three years, the Sentinels fell just short, taking home the Silver Medal, while the Goons claimed the championship! 🥇🥈

In the Bronze Medal Game, the Snipers battled past Fire to secure third place and bring home the Bronze Medal! 🥉

🚨 Guns N’ Hoses Faceoff 2026 🚒👮‍♂️

Another absolute war on the ice between Police and Fire this year!

Police came out hot, jumping to an early 2–0 lead and looking like we were about to send Fire back to the station early. But Fire managed to crawl back in, taking advantage of two power plays to tie the game.

They eventually grabbed a 3–2 lead, but the Police team kept pushing and battling until the very end.

With two minutes left, Police pulled the goalie in a last-ditch effort to tie it up. Unfortunately, Fire managed to get their hoses out and cool things down with a late goal, eventually sealing it 5–3.

Sometimes the puck just doesn’t bounce your way… but the battle, the rivalry, and the atmosphere made it another unforgettable Guns N’ Hoses game.

A huge thank you to all the fans who came out and packed the arena. Your energy makes this event what it is every year. And a big thank you to the Henderson Silver Knights for their continued support of this incredible event.

We may have taken the loss this year…

…but don’t worry Fire — we’ll be back next year to finish the job. 👮‍♂️🔥

💙 💙Tomorrow we will honor our fallen heros💙💙

In sports, they say the name on the front of the jersey is more important than the name on the back.

But tomorrow will be different.

Tomorrow, the name on the back of the Las Vegas Police Hockey Team jerseys will mean everything.

Each player will take the ice representing a fallen officer from law enforcement agencies across the Las Vegas Valley. Tomorrow, our team won’t just play for themselves, their families, or their teammates — they will play for those we have lost… the heroes whose names they proudly carry on their backs.

This game is more than hockey. It is remembrance. It is honor. It is brotherhood.

Boys, go out and play with pride.
Play with heart.
Play with compassion.

But most importantly, play with the fire that burns deep inside you — the fire of dedication, respect, and relentless competitiveness.

Tonight we remember.
Tomorrow we play for them. 💙

🚨👮 ATTENTION FIRE DEPARTMENT 🚒🔥

Just making sure you got the memo…

🏒 Game time is 12:00 PM tomorrow.

We know that’s dangerously close to nap time, so don’t worry — police will have the building secured and safe by 10:30 AM. You can continue holding short at the station until the recliners release you for duty.

Please remember:
✅ Finish breakfast
✅ Pack snacks for the bench
✅ Set alarms so nobody sleeps through puck drop

Police have been training for hockey.
Fire has been training for chili cook-offs and remote control endurance.

By the time Fire finishes stretching, Police will already be up by three goals and writing citations for excessive napping.
