With Valentine’s Day around the corner, love is in the air! Not just romantic love, but love for everyone and everything that brings a smile to your face.

I’ve definitely been in my experimental era. ✨💫

There’s just so many things I want to get into!

With the year coming to an end, this month is all about decluttering and simplifying.

Removing the objects, activities,and even people that take up more space in my apartment, mind, and heart than they need to be.

I’m starting the year off with more focus and intention to dedicate my time and energy for the people and areas of my life that I want to see grow and flourish in 2026.

Of course, I’ll still hold space for experimenting, spontaneity, and newness to come into my life because that’s me. 😛

But doing so with more intention. 😌

Loving life so far.

The past couple of weeks have been a bit brutal on my body. I haven’t been doing as much aerial as I have with dance.

Being with lyra is like an abusive relationship.

You neglect her, she’ll punish you for it.

It’s funny how lyra bruises are also interchangeable with “lyra kisses.”

Regardless, I still go back to her because she’s my first circus love.

A metal circle I know I can rely on to catch me, to spin me, and to hang on for dear life while providing me with the priceless moment of timelessness, bliss, and internal peace.

I’ve really been learning a lot about myself lately. With every new experience, new interaction, new connection, new conversation I’m learning about what I like, what I don’t, who I want to spend my time with, the type of people I want to surround myself with, the types of activities I want to spend my time doing.

It’s been a hell of a year in the best way. Every experience has been one to learn from in their own way. The good, the bad, the weird, the ugly, and the down right grimy.

I’m thankful for all the people who have played a part in my journey 🥰🙏🏽

Splits for dayzzzzz.

I’m gonna be honest here.

1) This isn’t a squared split. I actually don’t have a 180 degree squared split. But I can fake it ‘til I make it.

Does the audience care.

Likely no.

2) I have a bunch of bookmarked posts and screenshots of posts about performance opportunities that I haven’t submitted applications for.

Why?

I’ve been making the excuse that my video reel from 2023 isn’t good enough, not current enough, and not up to my standards.

But in reality, I’m just making excuses.

The video reel creating, resume making, the website and portfolio building are all part of being a professional performing artist. Those who are lucky enough either have those skills or hire someone else to do it for them.

Otherwise, these things really are just the tedious part of the role and things we have to do outside of training.

As we lead up to the holidays, I’m stating here that I’ll have my reel updated before Thanksgiving 👌🏽🦃✨

Here’s a little sneak peak at my process of making my Intro Videos for Urban Talent. It’s currently my way of getting more comfortable talking about myself and being in front of the camera.

First, I show the final take in real speed. This is what I end up keeping after cutting out all the fluff, the pauses, the side quest stories, and all the trailing off topic. I try to make it more professional by cleaning up my speech and trying to the point more concise.

Second, me blabbering about myself and my life. This honestly could have easily been a 20min video if I wanted 😂
