🏁🏁5th Place Finish!!!🏁🏁

A workmanlike effort for the driver of the No. 14 RMM Legend this weekend with the CARS Tour West Series at Las Vegas Bullring! 😎

While mom had to stay home to work (insert tears here 😢), Austin got back in the groove on Friday, finding a lot of speed during practice. Qualifying wasn’t stellar—8th out of 18—but he charged forward to finish 6th in the main event.

Saturday brought just one practice session, cut short when a spinning car was misjudged and resulted in front-end damage. After a great repair effort, Austin still managed a solid 7th-place qualifying run, especially impressive given the limited laps.

In the main event, Austin battled hard, running as high as 3rd, and ultimately brought it home with a 5th-place finish.

A great weekend of overcoming adversity and continuing to grow. Excited to see what the rest of the season has in store! 💪🏎️.

Super Proud of RMM’s development driver Austin Steinke for capturing the 2026 INEX Silver State Road Course Series Young Lion Legend Championship! Austin overcame so much over 3 weekends and 10 races including being sick the last day! He has once again showed the grit and determination it takes to succeed in this sport! Congrats #14!!!!!

Heck of a day at the Silver State road course series. With a super fast Legend on Friday, some misfortune and poor strategy found the Ole’ 14s in need of repair after practice. We were not sure if it could all be fixed but the Third Gen Boys worked some miracles and got her back on track for the Heat race. A P5 starting spot resulted in a 5th place finish as a few additional tweaks were needed.

The first A main saw Austin jump from 9th up to 8th where he battled with a super fast pack for 8 grueling laps. With the points battle for the championship going in our favor, Austin did not push the issue and brought home 8th.

The second A-Main saw some back and forth battles as Austin was definitely in points racing mode. He ran a smart race as he started and finished 8th. He managed to hold a hard charging run from the 100 car and add to the points lead ever so slightly.

Headed into the last day, with one A-main remaining, Austin will be out to close the 2025/2026 Silver State Road Course series with his first Legend Championship. He has a 16 point lead headed into the last A-main and will need to run a smart race while still trying to maintain a top 5 pace!

We hope to close it out on a high note!

🚗💨 Silver State Road Course Series – Las Vegas, NV Recap!
It’s that time of year when the Legend cars hit the road course, and Austin was ready for the challenge! This weekend kicked off Rounds 1–3, starting Friday with practice.
Austin got up to pace quickly and put in the work—focusing on key areas to find more speed while we dialed in the car’s handling.
🔥 Saturday Highlights:�Austin ran in the Top 4 in Young Lions during practice, but a faulty relay took him out of the heat race and left him starting P22 in the feature.�He charged through the field, climbing into the Top 10 and finishing 8th overall / P3 Young Lions in Round 1!�Round 2 had him starting P8, and after some hard racing he brought it home P7.
🔥 Sunday – Round 3:�Austin opened with a P5 practice time out of 22, putting him P3 in Heat 1. Starting on the inside (never the preferred line), he slipped back to 6th but clawed back to finish P4.�Starting P7 in the A-Main, he fought through multiple restarts and other drivers’ missed shifts, settling into P7 before steadily working his way up to P5.
Unfortunately, just as the checkered flag was coming out, the transmission let go and the car locked up, sending him spinning into the infield.
💪 Overall:�A solid weekend with tons of progress, pace, and hard racing. Austin showed real development each session, and we’re proud of the effort and results.
Now we look ahead to the remaining rounds—as soon as we get the car put back together!
