RJ SMOTHERMAN CLAIMS BULLRING PRO LATE MODEL WIN

Las Vegas, Nv (March 26th, 2025) – RJ Smotherman, a familiar face in victory lane at the renowned 3/8 mile banked oval, made his return this past Saturday night. Partnering with Gear1 Racing, he felt a surge of confidence in his newly constructed Jackson Racecars chassis, Chevy Camaro, which proudly displayed his #24. "We had a solid qualifying run," RJ remarked, “It had us confident going into the feature.” With expressing optimism for the feature race, crew chief Matt Jackson said, “I simply told him to go out there and do what he knows how to do.”

Positioned on the inside of the second row, he was determined to seize the lead, and by the second lap, he had established control. However, the challenge was significant, as fierce competitors closely pursued him. “The race went well,” he said. “Once I was the lead I set a perfect pace to where the guy behind was just close enough to make him work for it and get his stuff hot, then when the caution came out with 10 to go we had enough to walk away and get the win.

I couldn’t have asked for a better racecar.” The partnership between Smotherman and Gear1 Racing will continue throughout the 2025
