It’s not just about whether someone can swim. 🏊‍♂️

Generational barriers, lack of access, representation in water sports, and even health conditions like heart disease or seizures all play a role in why certain communities face greater risk.

This conversation matters because drowning is fast, silent and preventable. And the more we understand the ‘why,’ the better we can protect ourselves and our kids.
