I didn’t need a new life. I needed to stop choosing the old one.
For a long time, I thought rebuilding meant some huge transformation.
Leave. Start over. Become someone different.
But my life didn’t change in one dramatic moment.
It changed in hundreds of smaller ones.
The choice to stop abandoning myself.
The choice to do the hard thing.
The choice to keep a promise to myself.
The choice to go even when I was afraid.
The choice to try again after I got it wrong.
And eventually, those choices became a life I actually wanted to live.
You don’t have to reinvent yourself today.
But you may have to stop choosing what keeps you where you no longer belong.
Your next choice matters.
