The rankings are in! Our first Capriotti's Sandwich Shop Power Rankings of the Fall 2026 Nevada Youth Sports Tackle Football season are officially here! 🥪🏈

Just like Capriotti's serves up the best subs in the game, our teams are ready to bring their best to the field starting this weekend! From 6U to 13U, every spot on this list has to be earned. And the chase for the top spot starts now.

And the timing couldn't be better... the NFL kicks off its season TONIGHT with our alum Rhamondre Stevenson and the Patriots taking on the Seahawks in a Super Bowl rematch. And we kick off our season this Saturday, September 12th! The cleats are laced, the helmets are on, and it's time to find out who's for real.

18 more former NYS Nevada Football athletes have been added to EA SPORTS College Football since launch, bringing our total to 71 alumni in the game!

College football season has kicked into full gear, which means it's time for our Alumni in Action!

JJ Buchanan, WR, Michigan — Caught 6 passes for 126 receiving yards, and hauled in the game-winning hail mary for the Wolverines to squeak out a 13-12 victory over Western Michigan.

Ryan Henderson, DE, Texas A&M — Collected 2 solo tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble for the Aggies in a 50-0 blowout over Missouri State.

Jayden Maiava, QB, USC — Threw for a 92% completion rate (23/25 passing), 349 passing yards, and 3 TD to lead his Trojans to a 39-0 rout of Fresno State.

College football officially kicked off this weekend, which means it's time for our Alumni in Action!

🔴🟡 Jayden Maiava, QB, USC — 25/29 passing, 286 yards, 3 TD (2 pass, 1 rush), leading the Trojans to a 42-26 win over San Jose State.

🟢⚫ DeVon Rice, RB, Hawaii — 35 rushing yards, 1 TD; 25 receiving yards, 1 TD, in a hard-fought 27-37 loss to Stanford.

🔴⚪ Tavian McNair, WR, UNLV — Hauled in a 38-yard touchdown catch, the Rebels' first score of the season, in a nail-biter 21-27 loss to Memphis.

🏈 AYF FOOTBALL — IMPORTANT 2026 DEADLINE REMINDERS! 🏈

The 2026 season is underway, and we want to make sure every conference, league, and team stays on track and ELIGIBLE FOR AYF POSTSEASON PLAY!

📅 AUGUST 15 — D2/D3 CONFERENCE DESIGNATION REQUEST FORMS
All D2/D3 Conference Designation Request Forms MUST be completed by 8/15.
👉 Contact your Regional Chairman for information regarding these forms.

📅 AUGUST 25 — AYF CONFERENCE AUDIT FORMS
All AYF Conference Audit Forms MUST be submitted to the AYF National Office by 8/25.

📅 SEPTEMBER 1 — TEAM MEMBERSHIP DEADLINE
🚨 ALL TEAM MEMBERSHIP MUST BE COMPLETED IN THE MYAYF SYSTEM BY 9/1!

Teams that do not have their membership completed in the MyAYF system by the deadline WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR AYF POSTSEASON PLAY.

📅 SEPTEMBER 1 — FINAL POSTSEASON DECLARATIONS
All final declarations for postseason play MUST be submitted to your Regional Chairman by 9/1.

⚠️ DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!
Conference and league leadership should make sure their teams understand these deadlines and have everything completed and submitted on time.
